This is one awesome read.
Faith in Christ: The Journey Out of Loneliness explores the depths of author Joseph Sgro’s struggle to understand why the man-made successes of our world have little meaning. He also questions his belief in Jesus and searches for meaning behind all the emptiness and loneliness that most of us harbor. Eventually, Sgro comes to terms with just how broken the human race is, and he understands that the love of Jesus is the only avenue that will lead us to a better life.
The world around us contains much that can inspire us to look toward the one and only Savior. Stop walking in darkness, stop kidding yourself, and stop looking for man-made answers. Open your heart, and let Faith in Christ be your guide on the spiritual journey to the light of Jesus Christ, the rock of our salvation.
The author, Joseph R. Sgro—except for a two-year stint living in the city of Las Cruces, New Mexico—has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey. During his stay in Las Cruces, Joseph attended flight school and obtained his pilot’s license. After graduating from high school, he attended aeronautical school in Teterboro, NJ, where he received numerous class awards. Upon graduation he received both his airframe and power plant licenses. One can sense a strong attraction to aviation in Joe’s background.
Working in the aerospace field at various levels, Joseph developed skills that would eventually assist him in starting his own business. With years of experience behind him, and having settled down in the rural countryside of New Jersey with his wife and daughter, Joe finally realized the dream of establishing a successful drafting firm.
When he began his journey with Christ, he developed a love for the scriptures. Seeing how much difference the love of Christ has made in his own life, Joe now wishes to help others find that love and to reconnect to the Lord. Faith in Christ: The Journey Out of Loneliness, is Joseph’s first book, however, it will not be his last. There is a calling to continue writing, and he will follow it.
